Jianning Li · Teaching

My teaching philosophy centers on connecting computational methods with practical applications in medicine and the health sciences. With experience teaching across Machine Learning, Data Science, and AI in Dental Medicine, I work in interdisciplinary settings that bring together students and professionals from computer science, medicine, and related fields. My goal is to support learners in developing strong methodological foundations, reproducible technical skills, and the ability to apply computational approaches to domain-specific challenges. Through seminars, lectures, and individual research supervision, I encourage critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the thoughtful use of computational methods to address complex problems in healthcare and life sciences.

🏫

Note for prospective students: I regularly supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses in 3D medical shape reconstruction, generative modeling, and clinical decision support. Feel free to reach out with your CV and a brief description of your research interests.
